Family: 

Bartal was an orphan who was born on Mon Calamari whose parents are unknown.  After his birth he was placed in an orphanage.  At the age of 1, he was adopted by Ladun Kreetos, the wealthy Ithorian philanthropist who made his home on Dantooine.  Ladun took Bartal and raised him with his own children as well as the many children of differing species he had adopted. 

Weapon: Lava Canon, Acid Rifle, T21 Rifle, or Vibro Knuckler

History:

Being a member of the respected Kreetos family afforded Bartal the finest education and training.  The Kreetos while publically appeared to be neutral in the Galactic Civil War were secret supporters of the rebellion.  Bartal along with his adopted brother Wazlurn trained to be soldiers and officers in the rebellion.  Because both Bartal and Wazlurn, who was Trandoshan, were not of the same species as their adoptive parents--they entered the front lines of the rebellion while being able to protect their parents involvement.  Bartal trained to be a Commando and also a master of Teras Kasi.  He made his way up through the ranks as an officer in the Rebel Alliance.
