History: 

     Mattalaurious (Matt) Starre was born in a small, close-knit community on Dantooine.  He and his brother Jalun, a Zabrak the family adopted a year before Matt was born, were mischevious and always seemed to get into the normal troubles that children got into.  As the two became teenagers, Jalun grew out of his mischevious behaviors while Matt became bored with life and wanted adventures and new challenges. 

     At the age of 15 he stowed away on a transport ship that was headed from his home planet to Corellia.  Matt continued his journey across the galaxy throughout his teenage years using various methods of transportation.  Along the way he was befriended by a Rodian Smuggler, named Q’uatarn, and a Twi’lek female, named Jooney Si.  Matt, finally feeling a sense of adventure, joined up with Q’uatarn and Jooney’s smuggling company.  

     The trio always managed to get themselves into dire circumstances, but Matt always seemed to have a plan that got them to safety.  When asked how he was able to come up with such schemes, Matt always said, “Guess I’m just lucky!” 

       Two years later, the trio found themselves in yet another precarious situation when they attempted to double-cross a Devaronian who hired them to smuggle spice.  They were brought before the Devaronian who swore he was going to execute them. 

     After being asked if they had any last words, Matt stood up and said how he felt that they should be left go and the whole scenario forgotten.  Amazingly, the Devaronian’s face became glazed over for a few minutes and then he told them to leave.  The trio was amazed but did not argue and ran off. 

    After that experience, Starre decided to change his life from that of a drifter to one of being more stabile and respectable.  He also felt that he needed to return to his family on Dantooine.  While Jooni Si agreed with Matt's assessment, Q'uatarn stated that he was happy with his life and wanted to continue exploring the galaxy.  The trio, was therefore, cut down to a duo--a duo who realized they were in love. 

     Mattalaurious Starre returned to Dantooine with Jooney at his side.  He reconnected with his family, including his brother Jalun who had also found the love of his life, Areanna.  Later that year, a Jedi Knight, a Falleen by the name of Bon Bato, had visited their town on Dantooine and was so impressed with how strongly the force flowed through Matt that he offered to take him to the Jedi Academy for training.

     While Matt studied at the Jedi Academy, Jooney had joined the GFFA military where she trained to be a pilot.  She climbed the ranks and was given command of her own squadron.

     Six years later, Matt became a Jedi Knight and later that year he and Jooney were wed.  A year later, the couple was surprised by a miracle.  Most couples who are from differing species are not able to have children together, but Matt and Jooney were blessed with a baby boy who they named Rogerius. 

     Matt and Jooney make their home on Dantooine where Starre grew up with his family.  He continues to serve the Jedi Order while Jooney still flies for the GFFA.
